I began teaching Yoga in 2001. I am trained in Vinyāsa, alignment and philosophical methods via the Krishnamacharya lineage. In 2004, I co-authored a popular yoga primer, the YogaFan:Practice Guide for Everyday

In November of 2026, my new book - a work that fulfills a life-long dream - YOGA, MAGIC AND THE TAROT, An Esoteric Manual of Western Occultism and Eastern Philosophy will be published by Aeon Books, UK.

I was director of Yoga philosophy for Sacred Sounds Yoga studio's 200 and 500 HR teacher training programs for over seven years. Located on Bleecker Street in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, I was instrumental in building Sacred Sounds Yoga teacher training program from their opening in 2011 to their closure in 2019.

From 2007 until 2020, I was a guest Yoga philosophy teacher trainer in numerous yoga studios in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the NJ Shore, including Yoga Effects, Ishta Yoga, Integral Yoga, Yoga 2.16, Hosh Yoga, Dou Yoga, Honor Yoga, and The Center for Health and Healing.

I have taught group, private and corporate āsana (posture) classes at many wonderful studios in Manhattan, NJ and Southern California. Most notably, I was a senior teacher at the esteemed and beloved East Village neighborhood yoga studio East, as well as a much-in-demand sub teacher for the many YogaWorks locations both in NYC and Orange County CA.

Currently, I reside part-time in both NYC and Laguna Woods in Orange County CA. I teach Mindful Flow yoga classes for seniors as well as my popular Vinyasa-style Chair Yoga classes.

I am honored to say that my oldest student is 106!

I look forward to resuming my philosophy trainings and workshops soon, now that my book is complete.

I strive to present the ageless and valuable wisdom teachings of Yoga and the Western Esoteric Traditions in a contemporary and accessible manner for my students, and to spark an interest in their life-long study.

My current personal studies include Vedic Chanting and chanting the Yoga Su̅tras of Patañjali with Guta Hedewig, former Director of Yoga Sutra NYC and Philadelphia and currently Director of The Yoga School NY.

I had served as Director of Vinyasa for several years at the legendary Yoga Sutra NYC school located at 42nd and Fifth Avenue. Yoga Sutra NYC housed three distinct yoga styles and studios, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Iyengar. The studio also hosted the most revered Yoga philosophy teachers and authors giving workshops and lectures at the time (2005-2012).

It was here I began and completed numerous philosophy courses with Dr. Edwin Bryant, Christopher Hildebrandt and Chase Bossart, and continue my studies stemming from their inspirational teachings.

I am also a long-time student of Western esoteric philosophy, most notably Dion Fortune and Ken Wilber.

I was a co-founder with Lady Suzanne Present, of the now defunct East Village School of the Occult Arts and Sciences. We both completed all four parts of The Society of the Inner Light Correspondence Course over a two year study immersion.
